Brindas

Brindas is a Singapore based Company which provides on door food and Catering services, we have developed it's Android Application. In 2003, S.Veera founded Brinda’s in the balmy island-city of Singapore. Brinda’s serves a wide variety of delicious Indian food. We were asked to develop the food app for Brindas. As everyone today is looking for a variety of options for ordering food online, our team did the work in ionic and made it live within few months.

Challenge

Application development's main aim for any company is to improve productivity and customer service. The main area's to cover were functionalites like ordering food, tracking it, payment and it's various methods. The Ionic Framework does a fine job of assisting developers with creating hybrid mobile apps,desktop browser support was a topic to think upon. Obviously, many people want to build a website that will also have the same or similar capabilities as a mobile application.

Solution

It was not as straight-forward as you might think, mainly because of Ionic’s limited browser support. Since Ionic isn’t intended for use on desktop browsers, so it took a several modifications to get this working properly like structuring our Ionic application to build our files and dependencies into a separate folder for desktop browsers.
