Client Overview
Who Bedding Bazar is.
Bedding Bazar is a cotton bedding brand serving customers across India through both retail and wholesale channels. Viithiisys implemented a Vendure-powered headless commerce platform that brings both buying models together on one scalable backend.
Bedding Bazar required a commerce platform that could support two distinct buying experiences while maintaining a single product catalogue, inventory, and operational backend.
The solution combines a premium B2C storefront with a GST-aware B2B trade portal, custom quotation workflows, Razorpay payments, and AWS infrastructure.
The Challenge
Where things were breaking.
Bedding Bazar serves two very different customer segments. Retail customers need a fast shopping experience, while wholesale customers require controlled purchasing, business approval, negotiated pricing, quotations, advance payments, and shipment tracking.
The business needed both models to operate from a single commerce backend, with one catalogue, shared inventory, and a unified operational dashboard.
The platform also needed to support Indian commerce requirements including INR pricing, GST-inclusive prices, GST slabs, Indian addresses and PIN codes, and Razorpay integration.
- Two buying experiences from one catalogue and one inventory position
- Wholesale approval, negotiated pricing, quotations, and advance payments
- INR pricing with GST-inclusive prices and GST slabs
- Indian addresses, PIN codes, and Razorpay integration
Our Solution
A unified B2C and B2B commerce platform, in five parts.
The build has five parts: a B2C retail storefront, a B2B wholesale portal, a Wholesale Trade Desk for staff, GST-aware commerce, and Razorpay payment integration.
All five run against the same Vendure backend, so retail and trade share one catalogue, one inventory position, and one Dashboard.

One backend, two buying models, no fork of the core.
Retail and trade needed different rules running over the same catalogue. Three properties of Vendure made that a configuration problem rather than a second build.
One shared commerce foundation
Retail and trade operate through separate channels while sharing product variants, collections, facets, stock locations, and inventory.
Headless architecture
The Vendure Shop API powers a modern Next.js storefront, giving the business control over the customer-facing experience while keeping commerce operations within Vendure.
Extensible by design
Custom business requirements were implemented through standard extension points, plugins, API extensions, and Dashboard extensions instead of forking Vendure core.
Vendure extension architecture
Every custom requirement maps to a documented extension point.
The implementation uses Vendure's extension model rather than modifying the core platform.

One
Commerce backend
Retail and wholesale commerce operate from one shared catalogue, inventory position, and Dashboard.
Server-side
Trade controls
Wholesale pricing, pack sizes, minimum quantities, quotation expiry, and payment matching are enforced on the server.
The outcome
One extensible backend behind both ways of buying.
Bedding Bazar demonstrates how Vendure can power both direct-to-consumer and wholesale commerce from a single extensible backend.
The implementation combines headless commerce, B2C storefront, B2B wholesale workflows, GST-aware taxation, custom quotations, Razorpay payments, Vendure Dashboard extensions, AWS infrastructure, and automated testing.
By using Vendure's extension architecture rather than modifying its core, Viithiisys created a modular commerce foundation that can be extended as the business grows.
